last year when i was in italy i was having a ride with my bike. all of a sudden i saw a little animal laying in the middle of the street which, for the second i was able to see it, lokked like a babycat. i turned around and for my shock it was a babycat. it looked unharmed, but it coukdnt move and was completly limp so i assumed it had a broken back or neck. but it was meowing sadly, so i tried to lift it up, knowingly that this might kill it because auf its condition, because i dindt want it to lay there on the hot tarmac all alone. i took it to the side of the road, layed it on my lap, layed my glove on this small fella to comfort his last minits. i kept petting it veeery carefully so it knows its not alone (it looked like it doesnt see anymore...) and after about 10 minits, it got silent, and died. i will never foget this scene, me sitting in the dirt beside the road, holding this babycat in my hands, criyng like a bitch...

My cat get hit by a car last year on 23th December in front of my eyes. She then rolled down a hillside, I tried to follow her, calm her and look after her. She first fled, then calm down and I nearly could touch her. Then the Driver who has first stopped started his car again and my cat paniced and run away. I searched her for two days. That wasn't my happiest X-mas as you can imagine. I cried a lot. She came back in the evening of the 25th, one eye with a very big pupil one with nearly no more pupil to see. It didn't react to light anymore. Also her jawbone was broken. Must have hurt a lot but she let me help her. I brought her to a vet clinic with a 24/7 service even on holydays. That wasn't cheap of course (over 1000€ total) but she is alive now! One eye is out and we had to feed her through a tube in her neck for more than a week. Definitly worth it. I love her and I feel her thankfullness.

In my country there's an issue with starts everywhere. I remember one day, my grandma and I went out to go shopping for groceries, on our way back we saw a dog on the side of the road, normally not an issue except we saw it on our way out in the same spot as well. We stopped and I got out, I looked at the poor thing. He had his leg run over by a car and it was infected, the poor guy could barely register I was therewe grabbed a towel and rushed it to the vet. Long story short my grandma now has a 3 legged dog that everyone loves.
